Appendix: Glossary Of Terms

Axis:

The principle of, or intentional impulse towards Enaction. One of the Sidia.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Orange Thread of Sobriety.

• See also: Sidia.

Beckoning (the):

An intentional impulse that is directed towards an individual from the core of their utia over a period of time, the purpose of which is to lead the individual towards emergence.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Soul-Beckoning.

Daxis:

The principle of, or intentional impulse towards Continuation. One of the Sidia.

• See also: Sidia.

Dextral:

A particular form of awareness that is primarily characterized by direct experience and the generation and interpretation of numina.

• See also: sinistral, tifential.

Eion/Eions:

Intentional manifestations of the awareness of Eios. Eions can be described as insubstantial rays, lines or threads.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as Threads.

Eios:

The manifest aspect of the Source. Pure, undifferentiated Intentional awareness.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Weave-Heart.

Eisidaia:

The entirety of existence considered as the sum total of all existing eions.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as The Weave.

Emergence:

The process of disengaging an individual utia from the osculation to a specific oscularity with which it is osculated.

• A specific type of Awakening, as mentioned in the The Wayfarer’s Legend.

Extrication:

The process of disengaging an individual utia from all oscularities with which it is osculated.

• A specific type of Awakening, as mentioned in the The Wayfarer’s Legend.

Intention:

The means by which Eios expresses itself. The primary Intentions of Eios are eions and the Sidia.

Ixis:

The principle of, or intentional impulse towards Volition. One of the Sidia.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the White Thread of Nobility.

Juncture:

Osculations linking an oscularity and the utic body of an individual, expressed as vortexes of numina appearing at specific regions along the numinic body of an individual.

Luvis:

The principle of, or intentional impulse towards Intensification. One of the Sidia.

Naxis:

The principle of, or intentional impulse towards Cessation. One of the Sidia.

Numina:

Pure energetic potential generated by the osculation of eions.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as Novelty.

Numinia:

The sum total of all numina in existence. The totality of existence from the standpoint of numina.

Numinic Body:

A field of numina generated by the osculation of an individual utia to an oscularity.

The numinic body is expressed in human beings as the physical body, the emotional body and the mental body.

Oscularity/Oscularities:

Osculations that generate sustained fields of numina. Oscularities are sustained by the continued osculation of the eions involved therein.

Osculate:

A verb used to describe the interaction of eions, especially in the future tense.

Example: “This group of eions could osculate.”

Osculated:

A verb used to describe the osculation of eions in the past tense.

Example: “When conceiving the child, the utic bodies of the parents osculated.”

Osculating:

A verb used to describe the osculation of eions in the present tense.

Example: “While osculating, the eions generated a substantial amount of numina.”

Osculation:

The entwining process by which eions manifest structures. Also, a specific interaction or group of interactions between eions.

Used as a noun or a verb.

Example: “The osculation caused a profound change in awareness.”

Example: “The bond between them is the result of a long-standing osculation.”

Ovis:

The principle of, or intentional impulse towards Potentiation. One of the Sidia.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Black Thread of Humility.

Persona (the):

A collection of accepted osculations from the utic body of an individual to the signets of one or more sinistral utia.

Ruvis:

The principle of, or intentional impulse towards Instigation. One of the Sidia.

Sid:

The Sidia. Sid is used both as a singular and a plural noun.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Source Threads.

Sidia (the):

The impulses governing the interaction of all eions. The primary Intentions of Eios.

The Sidia are: Ovis, Ixis, Uvis, Axis, Ruvis, Luvis, Daxis and Naxis.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Source Threads.

Signet:

An Intentional structure utilized by utia that possess sinistral awareness.

Sinistral:

A particular form of awareness that interacts primarily at the level of Intention and osculation alone.

• See also: dextral, tifential.

Source (the):

The unmanifest origin of all manifestation. The Great Mystery. The Source exists beyond all forms and yet upholds and ubiquitously permeates all of existence.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Weavemaster.

Tifential:

A particular form of awareness characterized by the synergy and coordination of both dextral and sinistral awareness.

• See also: dextral, sinistral.

Utia:

A self-directing, sentient expression of Eios, resulting from the intense osculation of a number of eions.

The word utia is used both as a singular and a plural noun.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Soul-Thread or Soul-Threads.

Utic Body:

An osculation of an individual utia to a specific oscularity.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Intentional Body.

Uvis:

The principle of, or intentional impulse towards Substantiation. One of the Sidia.

• Referred to in the The Wayfarer’s Legend as the Blue Thread of Wonder.

Wayfarer:

A individual who has elected to pursue the recovery of the awareness of their essential nature as an Intentional instance of Eios.

• In The Wayfarer’s Legend, the term Threadbearer is used to describe a Wayfarer who has recovered their essential nature.

Wayfarer’s Compass (the):

A specific diagram or mandala that illustrates the relationship and interaction of the Sidia.

Wayfaring:

The process or path of identifying with one’s essential nature, realized by recovering one’s own integrity through the continued experience of existence.
